About Enzo

I'm Enzo Cespedes-Correa. I was born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida, where I attended Coral Gables Senior High School. In 2021 I moved to Tampa, where I live with my wife, Peyton, and our daughter.

I've always had a natural curiosity about the world around me, particularly when it comes to history, economics, and philosophy. Some of my earliest memories of finance date back to the 2008 Great Financial Crisis. I was only ten years old, but I remember seeing how deeply the economic downturn affected my family and those closest to us. At the time, it felt as though the world was falling apart. People who had worked hard and done everything they thought was right suddenly found themselves facing circumstances beyond their control. It was my first real introduction to how events in stemming from an “abstract” financial world could have such a profound and tangible impact on people's everyday lives. I didn't fully understand how or why it was happening, but I wanted to.

Those experiences sparked an interest in economics and financial markets that stayed with me as I grew older, eventually leading me to pursue a career in finance in 2017. Having witnessed the consequences of financial uncertainty firsthand, I wanted to better understand the decisions and circumstances that shape people's financial lives, and ultimately help others navigate them with greater confidence.

Along the way, I earned both my bachelor's degree and MBA from Florida International University and completed the Wealth Management Theory & Practice program at Yale School of Management.

Although finance is a big part of my life, I enjoy reading about history, exploring new ideas, and learning about new subjects that challenge my views. I find myself enjoying conversations the most with those who think differently than me. In 2025, I began finding my way back to the Catholic faith in which I was raised. Since then, it has become an increasingly important part of my life, shaping how I approach questions about purpose, responsibility, and the world around me.

Above all, I value the time I spend with my family. Becoming a husband and father has given me a different perspective on life and a greater appreciation for the things that matter most.

I started this website simply because I wanted a place of my own on the internet. Somewhere to share my thoughts, document experiences, and write about whatever happens to capture my interest. There's no particular theme or agenda, just a collection of things I find meaningful or worth exploring.

Thanks for stopping by.

“I seek the truth.”
